What a day or days??
2.10.11 - 2.12.11
I left Denver on Thursday, February 10th and when I arrived it was Saturday morning! Who knew I could be such a good sleeper...or what wonderful effects whiskey and a sleeping aid can do to a person.
The 747 flight was packed, the food was remedial, but the Fijian's seem warm and accomodating. We were greeted with singing and guitars. The weather, from walking out of the tarmac, seems humid and buggy...shocking. The landscape from the airport's windows was green, rolling, but rugged hills that remind me of Costa Rica. I am feeling pretty confident that I will have a better description when I actually stay here for a week or so on my return...next stop, Auckland, New Zealand...leaving in a couple hours...
